Bis zur Neuordnung bestand der Kanton Wingles aus den fünf Gemeinden Bénifontaine, Hulluch, Meurchin, Vendin-le-Vieil und Wingles. Sein Zuschnitt entsprach einer Fläche von 31,22 km2.
