Kandal

Kandal (Khmer កណ្ដាល, Umschrift: Kândal, IPA: [kɑnɗal], Bedeutung: „Mitte“) ist eine Provinz in Kambodscha. Die Provinz umgibt die Landeshauptstadt Phnom Penh, die jedoch selbst nicht zur Provinz gehört. Die Provinzhauptstadt von Kandal heißt Ta Khmau („schwarzer alter Mann“).
