Kürzungsregel (Monoid)

Man sagt, dass in einem kommutativen Monoid ${}M$ die Kürzungsregel gilt (oder dass ${}M$ ein Monoid mit Kürzungsregel ist), wenn aus einer Gleichung

m+n=m+k{\text{ mit }}m,n,k\in M,

stets folgt, dass ${}n=k$ ist.
