Enblättere Kohlrabi
Kohlrabi (Brassica oleracea L.) ist eine Gemüsepflanze; er ist eine der vielen Zuchtformen des Kohls.
Die vom Kohlrabi genutzte Knolle ist eine Verdickung des Stammes der Kohlpflanze, insofern also keine Wurzel. Kohlrabi kommen meistens in hellgrünen, manchmal auch in roten Zuchtformen. Zur Anzucht braucht Kohlrabi nährstoffreichen Boden, ausreichend Feuchtigkeit und er wächst am besten im gemäßigten Klima.
Kohlrabi ist sowohl roh als auch gekocht essbar.
